STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Thanksgiving Day is a time for everyone to be grateful.

It's also a time to help the needy and that's what Islanders across the borough did by dishing out piping-hot meals - turkey and lots of stuffing and all the trimmings.

Port Richmond resident and actor Tristian Wilds and FDNY Commissioner Salvatore Cassano, a Huguenot resident, got in the act by lending a hand at the Cargo Cafe.
