I liked this episode. I hate how they're gonna "break up" cos that's what it looks like. I liked that the writes gave him something to work with, and now he can let his true talents show.

Been hearing about this movie for a minute, and I am going to see it next week. I don't know why I haven't posted anything on it for the past month. LOL. Anyways, listen to Idris [with his sexy accent]in his new movie Obsessed. Glad to see Ali Larter doing something outside of Heroes. She's playing a demented bitch in this movie.



Don't forget about Idris' former partner in crime & fellow Wire alum Wood Harris in Next Day Air in theatres May 8th. Where are the promos for this movie? No commercials or NOTHING. sheesh.

90210 Off The Rails

Glad we got to see a lot of Dixon and Silver. I knew she was bipolar, but I didn't want to spoil it for everyone else. I also like the lil brother sister moment that Dixon had with Annie in the end. Sometimes I forget that they are even related; they don't have much interaction on that show.

Next episode should be good w/ Dixon finding his REAL mother. I think it's too soon for that though. We'll see how that pans out.

Terence Howard & Cuba Gooding Jr. Become "Red Tails"

Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terrence Howard head the ensemble cast drafted by Lucasfilm for "Red Tails," its feature about the Tuskegee Airmen that Anthony Hemingway is directing.


The cast also includes Bryan Cranston, Nate Parker, David Oyelowo, Tristan Wilds, Cliff Smith (aka Method Man), Kevin Phillips, Rick Otto, Lee Tergesen, Andre Royo, Ne-Yo, Elijah Kelley, Marcus T. Paulk, Leslie Odom Jr., Michael B. Jordan, Jazmine Sullivan, Edwina Findley, Daniela Ruah and Stacie Davis.

A fictional tale inspired by the real-life Tuskegee Airmen -- the first all-black aerial combat unit that flew during World War II -- the project was written by John Ridley from a story by George Lucas, who is serving as executive producer. Rick McCallum and Charles Floyd Johnson are producing.

Principal photography is about to get under way in Europe.

"We're working on techniques that will give us the first true look at the aerial dogfighting of the era," Lucas said. "And our top-notch cast will really make this story special."

This is a good look for Cuba since he hasn't done anything worth mentioning since Jerry McGuire. I am not too thrilled with him being in the movie, being that Terence Howard is enough for me to want to see the movie even more. That man is supa talented *shrugs*

Yall know how we are when it comes to "black films"; we only support the step & fetch it comedies [Madea], romance, family, & dance films, but don't support the OTHER quality black films out there. Yall know The Great Debaters, and The Secret Life of Bees coulda done better. SMH.

The CW's gonna be all on his nuts if he blows up from this movie, tryna get him more play than they've been giving him. Watch. LOL

I didn't get the name of the movie, so I went on over to IMDB to see what it was. He has a movie called An American Affair coming out where he plays a character named "Andre". There's also a TV series called, Past Life where he plays a character of the same name. I would love to see the kid on TV some more. At least we'd get to see him every week.

I'm thinking that the former project has been renamed cos there was a movie on his resume called, Boy of Pigs, so it's safe to say the title has changed.
